Because the citizens of Louisiana can look forward to an ever-increasing lifespan, the Center on Healthy Aging is dedicated to enhancing the quality of those years through research, education, and patient care.  It is the mission of the Center  to foster top clinical research in the field of aging—providing research opportunities for medical students, residents, fellows, MPH candidates, and nursing and allied health students. Area LSU affiliated nursing homes and clinics in the New Orleans Metro area provide for clinical studies including John J. Hainkel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, St. Ana’s Residence, Chateau De Notre Dame in New Orleans, and Chateau Living Center in Kenner, La.
