The LSU Health Sciences Center School of Graduate Studies is designed to offer students the opportunity to earn graduate degrees in ten different areas of the basic sciences: Biostatistics, Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Anatomy, Genetics, Microbiology, Neuroscience, Oral Biology, Pathology, Pharmacology, and Physiology. Students are trained in the application of the principles of cellular and molecular biology to the understanding of organ-based function and pathophysiology through programs of rigorous didactic and laboratory research experiences.
